I Hope Nobody's On Dial-Up #1

I promised a photopost last time but after today's trip to an open-air museum and photographing galore, I had to divide the pictures over several posts. Here's some architecture that caught my fancy over the first few days.

The old water tower stands proud in it's own square surrounded by violets and old houses.

Heli and our teacher Marita on the stairs of a (very typical) gothic church.

The city hall rises above neighbouring buildings next to a beautiful park with statues and blooming trees.

Here it is already sunset but the blogger marches on.

There was a map of the park, it's statues, and the surrounding buildings (the text was also in braille).

I looked at this house and gently whispered to it "someday you will be mine".

Truth be told, I could also be satisfied with an apartment from this beauty overlooking the river Tisza.

There are so many lovely buildings I would have to walk with my phone wired to my hand, arm raised, shutter blinking all the time if I wanted to capture them all but alas, I am not a cyborg (yet).

Tune in next time for a trip to the tallest tower in Szeged. Some history of Hungarian housing (and several pictures of my shoes???) is also up soon!
